Thank you all for volunteering to help staff the Beaverton School Clothes Closet for Stoller Middle School. My name is Jason Graalum. My daughter is in Orange 7 this year and I am the volunteer coordinator for Stoller's day at the Clothes Closet.

Our day this year is March 7th.   Volunteers are needed to staff the Clothes Closet 9:30am until 4:30pm. (No, you won't need to be there for 7 hours....that's just for the coordinator..me!)  There are 6 shifts available and we need 3 volunteers for each shift. I have listed the shifts below. Please reply with which shift you are available to work(also, if possible, include a second preference in case we have more than enough volunteers for your preference shift.)

March 7th, 2012

• 9:30-10:00
• 10:00-11:00
• 11:00-12:00
• 12:00-1:00
• 1:00-2:00
• 2:00-3:00
• 3:00-4:30

(You may notice that the first and last shifts are a bit longer than the middle shifts. Help is needed to setup and clean up before and after the Clothes Closet is open.)

Looking for a place to volunteer? Parent volunteers are needed to help oversee lunch for all grades. Parents would be in the game room or watching over several tables in the cafeteria. The time commitment would be at least once a week.

Lunch Times:

7th Grade: 11:25-12:00
8th Grade: 12:00-12:40
6th Grade: 12:35-1:15

Every third Friday of the month, there will be tables set up in the school's main hall with all the lost items from the Gym and Cafeteria. This will be an easy way for the kids to find their stuff. Parents can also come in and find lost items.

Parents: Remind your students to check the table for lost items!

Anything left will be taken the following Monday to the Clothes Closet.
