Volunteers at Stoller are needed, welcomed, and valued by teachers, staff, and YES - even students! Volunteering is a great way to become better acquainted with your child's middle school experience. Whether you can help at Stoller once in a while or once a week, we'd love to have you be a part of our volunteer program!
Stoller PTO is an organization that will be here the entire year to assist Stoller families. We'll address your concerns, suggestions, ideas... to the school administration. We also develop programs to enhance students' experience in Stoller, like Art Lit, Academic Competitions, Parties, Clothes Closet, Stoller Garden and more.Getting involved in Stoller volunteering programs is one of the best ways to get to know our community and your student's school life. Even though the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students say that they don't want us around...the fact is that they appreciate our willingness to be part of their lives.
Volunteering at Stoller is so easy to get setup. The PTO has set up an online registration process. Even if you were previously in Stoller’s Helpcounter database, please check your status. We have cleaned up many errors in the database and some profiles had to be deleted.
How to check your status:
Go to the Stoller PTO HelpCounter site - information on how to check in will appear on your screen. For security reasons we have to check the background of every volunteer. This means that:
- If you have not cleared your background before, you have to do it.
- If you have done it but in a different school, you have to edit your profile and add Stoller.
- To do so, please click in the link
https://www.beaverton.k12.or.us/volunteer/
In addition we want to know your name, your contact info, your children hall/grade and your areas of interest. To do so:
- Enter your contact information in Helpcounter. It is important that you enter exactly the same name and last name you entered in the background.
- Follow the link that the system sends you to fill the form.
- Keep the email with the password for future modifications or enter hours.
The Volunteer Coordinator will check your background, make your id badge…and you will be ok to volunteer in Stoller.
Always remember to sign in/out at the computer located in the main office and clip the id badge visible as you are in the school. The Id badge allows other adults and students identify you as a Stoller volunteer.
